Using Thunderbird as a Fully Synced Desktop Client

Outlook is not the only desktop email client that you can use to get full Collaboration functions. Not counting the Zimbra Desktop (get it here) you can also use Thunderbird.

Using two free plugins called Zindus and Lightning (Using CalDAV), you can fully sync your calendar and contact information with your Zimbra account from Protack. This mixed with IMAP access from Thunderbird, you now have a fully functional email client capable of providing some of the same fuctions as Outlook but without the cost of Outlook or Exchange.(by using Protack as your provider)
